Below are gambling treatment providers that are members of the Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance. This list is provided as a service to our readers and should not be taken as an endorsement of provider quality.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic finding treatment for problem gambling has been made easier. From the comfort of your home you can visit providers through telehealth visits.

Residential Treatment

Project Turnabout’s Vanguard Center for Compulsive Gambling is a nationally recognized residential treatment program for men and women 18 years of age and older who are experiencing problems due to compulsive gambling. The Vanguard Program’s treatment is based on the 12-Steps, and incorporates a multidisciplinary team, including licensed counselors, nurses, and psychological and spiritual staff. Vanguard also offers a family program. The 20-bed Vanguard facility is a separate unit located on Project Turnabout’s main campus. It is currently the only residential program for problem gambling in Minnesota and one of a few in the nation.
